Tuner Rules
1. Performance Modifications: Tuners are authorized to modify a vehicle’s engine, transmission, brakes, tires, and other performance-related components. All modifications must be done carefully to ensure proper functionality and avoid unintended issues.
2. Vehicle Stance Kit Usage:
Vehicle stancing using the stance kit must only be performed by employees who understand how to use it properly.
If the vehicle’s alignment is set improperly, it can cause unusual behavior, glitches, or bugs that may harm the player or others.
3. Exclusive Access to Tuning Items: All tuning-related items, including the stance kit, must only be handled by tuner employees. General players are strictly prohibited from accessing or using these items.
4. Safety First: Tuners must perform a test drive or inspection to ensure that modifications do not negatively impact the vehicle’s stability or performance.
5. Vehicle Modification Approval Certificate (VMAC):
Players must obtain a Vehicle Modification Approval Certificate (VMAC) document from the respective government authority before requesting modifications.
Tuners are required to verify the VMAC document before proceeding with any modifications.
6. Modification Confirmation Document (MCD): After completing the requested modifications, tuners must provide the player with a document that includes:
A record of the installed modifications.
The vehicle’s number plate to ensure the document is tied to the respective vehicle.
7. Bug and Glitch Reporting: Any bugs, glitches, or unusual vehicle behaviors caused by tuning must be reported to the server administrators immediately for resolution.
8. Service Records: All modifications and tuning jobs must be logged for record-keeping and potential government or administrative review.
9. Equipment Handling: All tuning equipment, tools, and parts must remain on-site and handled only by authorized employees. Theft or misuse of tuning items is strictly forbidden.
10. Professional Conduct: Tuners must maintain professionalism at all times, avoiding confrontations or illegal activities while on duty.
11. Client Consultations: Tuners must consult with players to understand their tuning requirements and offer guidance to ensure modifications are suitable for their vehicle and usage.
12. Fair Pricing: Pricing for tuning services must be reasonable and consistent. Overcharging or exploiting players is strictly prohibited.
13. Restricted Zones: Tuning services must only be conducted within the designated tuning shop. Mobile tuning is not allowed unless explicitly permitted by server rules.
14. Collaboration: Tuners may collaborate with mechanics or other professionals for additional services, such as repairs or performance evaluations.
15. Vehicle Inspection: Tuners must inspect all vehicles thoroughly before and after modifications to ensure proper functionality and prevent issues.
16. Refund Policy: In case of an unsuccessful tuning job or customer dissatisfaction, tuners must offer a refund or a free correction service if deemed fair by RP standards.
